WREATHS across AMERICA
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, the mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as over 1,200 additional locations in all 50 US states, at sea, and abroad. When volunteers lay wreaths on veterans' graves, they say their names. The object is not to decorate graves, not to remember their deaths, but instead, remember their lives.
